Here we are on Sunday morning with all the toys packed and ready to go. Things have gone fairly smoothly so far. We have seen more corn and soy beans than we ever wanted to see. Indiana is winning the worst roads prize so far. I think they may even be worse than 1-40 in Arizona and California. In fact, it doesn't seem that it could be a coincidence that we had a tire fail about 60 miles after leaving Indiana. Fortunately, there was no damage to the trailer and we changed it and got a new spare in about an hour. It started raining just as we got close to stopping tonight, which resulted in my realizing I forgot my rain jacket. If these are our worst problems we will be lucky. We will get to the real part of the trip in Wednesday. Till then we will continue driving.
