Just a few more pictures from Newfoundland. We drive to the ferry tomorrow and spend the night crossing to Nova Scotia.



Doug, these two pictures show how Newfoundlanders get there boats out of the water.



Typical fishing villages. If you see a large house, as in the last picture, we have been told the owner is probably an American. They come up and buy old houses, pay the locals to improve them way past the level of normal Newfoundlander houses, and then pay a local to care take the house, vehicles, boats, etc. during the 10-11 months they aren't present. I figure it is a new form of foreign aid. Lower the taxes on the obscenely rich to below the rates of regular working class people and then they can spend that money helping foreign countries.
