Sunday we spent most of the day at Louisbourg. The French built a fort and community here that was constantly being taken over by the British. The fort and a small part of the community has been rebuilt. This is the 300 anniversary of the fort being founded.

Today we left Cape Breton for the southern part of Nova Scotia. Tonight we are in Lunenburg, seen below. On the way here we stopped at a hooked rug museum for me. After we got here we visited a railroad museum with a very large model railroad for Tom.

The big red building is the fisheries museum which we will visit before moving on tomorrow. We also hope to take a kayak trip if we finally don't have rain!
